Dome Houses In Florida
Close to Cape Romano Island the Dome Houses are one of the most unique things in Florida to visit!
The Cape Romano Dome Houses are only accessible via water, and their offshore location catches the attention of many. 6 dome-shaped homes sit on stilts, surrounded by water.
These homes are abandoned. After being built in the 80s, the firm beach on which the domes were built eventually faded away and now the domes are surrounded by water, making them the perfect setting for wildlife and tall-tales. Make sure to check out the legends when you visit!

Discover Orlandos Coolest Neighborhoods
If the only places you ever go on your Disney vacation are the theme parks or I-Drive, then youve never really seen the real Orlando. Orlando isnt known as The City Beautiful for nothing here youll find charming neighborhoods of bungalow-lined, red-bricked streets speckled with oaks dripping in Spanish moss, and quaint downtowns dotted by hip hangouts.
While College Park and Winter Garden maintain their small-town feel, Winter Park is a vision of manicured perfection, its pristine Park Avenue area home to over 140 boutiques and cafes including The Ravenous Pig, a James Beard Award nominee. Thornton Park, Audubon Park, and the Milk District, meanwhile, are where Orlandos foodies and young and hip go to play. Or, for a taste of Mayberry with a hint of Old Florida charm, check out Celebration, the town that Disney built.

Epcot Food And Wine Festival Extended Through October 31st
In an unprecedented move by Disneys Epcot, the International Food and Wine Festival has been extended through the end of October. This is a favorite of mine, I remember this being my first taste of traveling around the world. My dad actually came to the USA working in the Moroccan Pavilion years ago at Epcot. If it wasnt for Disney World and bringing people from around the world to Orlando, I would probably not be here! So, this festival has a special place in my heart!

Try A Food Or Drink Tasting
Another great way to try something new with your partner is to experience a food or drink tasting. This can be in many forms, but my favorite is to try different beers from a craft brewery. Getting a flight is the perfect way to sample a variety of beer that you may be skeptical of tasting.
On the other hand, if beer is not your thing, you can also check out a winery or a distillery! For non-drinkers, there is always a foodie tasting. You can pick up different cheeses or desserts from your local market and then have a tasting at home. Some places are even doing a home tasting this year, like a beer and donut pairing for GBs bottle shop!

Relax And Revive In Salt
Ever heard of salt therapy? Neither had we. Itâs a treatment used for respiratory and skin conditions. All sufferers of conditions ranging from eczema to asthma could benefit from salt therapy .
It works by lying in a surprisingly comfortable and specially-designed halochamber . While you relax in the cave-like environment, dry sodium chloride aerosol is spritz into the air. This form of treatment has been going on since 1843 after a physician observed the low incidence of respiratory conditions in salt mine workers who breathed in saline dust. More recently, studies were conducted on surfers and the results were very positive.
So take a trip to the Salt Scene and experience one of the most relaxing and different things to do in Orlando. Give your lungs and skin the treatment they deserve while youre in Orlando, with longer lasting results that a typical spa. Sit back in one of the most advanced halogenerators in the country, take a salt-forward massage or hire an entire salt room for a healthier than healthy organic food and wine evening.
