Spend Some Time At Lake Zurich
Of course, a trip to Zurich wouldnt be complete without a stroll along the Lake Promenade of Lake Zurich.Walk and take it slow, enjoy the cool breeze, watch the geese float along the docks, and let the lakes peaceful, calming vibes take over.
Consider bringing cheese, bread, wine, and all your favorite bits for a lakeside picnic in the sunshine! In the summer months, you can also opt for a refreshing swim in the lake.
Another popular thing to do is to cruise on Lake Zurich! I havent done this myself, but I have heard there are all kinds of cruises, from relaxing sightseeing ones to gastronomic cruises . There are also nighttime party cruises if that floats your boat!
Check Out A Thermal Spa
There is literally nothing better that going for a thermal bath on a chilly day in Zürich. Actually, even if its not chilly, too!
I recommend you check out ThermalBad, a thermal bath that used to be an old brewery where you can choose between a basic thermal bath or a Roman-Irish spa ritual, for example. And while youre at it, check out the rooftop pool that gives the best views of this charming city!
PRICE: CHF 36 for the thermal bath and CHF 60 for the Roman-Irish spa ritual. You can also rent a towel , or a swimsuit if needed.

Where To Stay In Mahon
As we explain in ‘Where To Stay in Menorca’, due to strict rules, there is a limited supply of Airbnbs on the island. Therefore, those of you whose travel style may be more suited to finding a cute apartment or little townhouse may find that the better option actually turns out to be a hotel
As Mahon is quite compact and walkable, location won’t make a significant difference to your experience unless you really want to be based slap bang in the middle or the historic centre or next to the fish market.
Note that there aren’t accommodations down on the lower port level, so going out for dinner or drinks down here will always necessitate a walk home.
Discover Burger Heaven At Heidi & Tell Co
Its all in the name: Zurich burger restaurant Heidi & Tell is full of Swiss clichés, but not to embarrassing effect. A focus on quality over quantity means a limited menu made up of fresh vegetables, homemade bread, grilled Swiss meat and mountain cheese all free from preservatives and flavour enhancers. Its about as far from the greasy burger stereotype as you can get. Wash it all down with a beer from the restaurants vast selection.

Walk Around The Old Town
Old Town holds a high concentration of clubs in the whole of Switzerland if you want to have fun, and one of the most famous shopping miles despite having a medieval background in history, seen from the contorted, narrow lands and guild halls from the Renaissance Period. Old Town is a cultural, social, and historical site for exploration.
The whole experience is like the peoples living history that existed and acted out their lives in architecture. Stroll through the narrow cobbled streets. Its worth it to sightsee or walk uphill to Lindenhof park to get hold of the citys vitality. You can enjoy the streets filled with history as well as modern shops and cafes.
Visit A Historic Cafe
Perfectly juxtaposed to Zurichs forward-thinking design scene is the citys fondness for all things historic. Small and beautifully decorated traditional shops have become the places to be seen, and although Zurichs always had a thriving cafe culture, the locals seem to have a special place in their heart for their historic cafes . Cafe Schober is a perfect example a building dating from 1314 it was turned into a confectionery and coffee shop by Theodor Schober after 1875. Its a beautifully kitsch grotto of a café, with old-fashioned decor and a large range of homemade sweets and cakes.
