Visit The Wineries Close By
Even though Wisconsin is a beer-drinking state, there are several wineries near and outside of town. And most have a nice view to marvel over.
We found a nice winery not too far from downtown called Broken Bottle Winery. Ive noticed in this area that most places charge for wine tastings something Im not used to paying for in Texas, but thats okay. Fawn Creek Winery on 13th Avenue is another excellent place, and it offers complimentary wine tastings with music on the deck every Saturday and Sunday.

My kids are the same age. Our favorites are Devil’s Lake, the Original Ducks tour, and Wilderness if you still need lodging . They also like MagiQuest. A Zipline tour is on our “to do next time” list!
You might Wizard Quest . We also think the Wisconsin Deer Park is a great place. Noah’s Ark, mini golf, Original Wisconsin Ducks. Restaurants – Monks downtown, River Walk, Moosejaw, Hot Dog Avenue , Brat House. In Baraboo check out the Circus World Museum – they will probably have the Big Top up again for the summer with circus performances.

Red Ridge Ranch is a horse ranch that has trained many award-winning horses and which offers guided trail rides to visitors. The 1-hour guided tours take riders through farmland, wooded hills, and along the banks of the Lemonweir River. For young children, there are pony rides, while advanced trail rides can be reserved for experienced and confident riders. Rick Wilcox Magic Theater
The Rick Wilcox Magic Theater is one of the best family attractions in Wisconsin Dells.
There are almost daily shows at the theater and are usually in the evening.
It is a comedy magic show performed by married duo Rick and Sue Wilcox.
They update the show every year with new illusions and comedic acts.

The H.H. Bennett Studio, opened in 1865, is the oldest business in Wisconsin Dells and the oldest photographic studio in the United States. It was started by renowned photographer H.H. Bennett, a Canadian-born photographer and innovator who developed stop-action photography and an ingenious revolving solar darkroom, which is now housed at the Smithsonian Institution.
Visitors to Wisconsin Dells may tour Bennett’s old photography lab, which still has his original cameras and darkroom equipment, and may look at the many interesting displays in the photography museum. Enjoy Horse Riding And Observing At The Red Ridge Ranch
Half an hour towards the Northwest of Dell is the wonderful Red Ridge Ranch, a destination that offers enjoyable activities. It is basically a horse ranch housing award-winning horses that takes visitors for a guided trail ride. All the horses here are of great quality and well cared for, which adds to the experience of riding. Their 1-hour horse riding tour takes visitors through wooded hills, farmlands and ultimately towards the banks of the Lemonweir River. For adults, rides operate at advanced trails, while kids operate pony rides. If you happen to visit here during summer, you can also enjoy horse and wagon tours where each wagon carries 15 people. Or, for your visit during winters, enjoy the horse and sleigh rides and appreciate snow with a mug of hot chocolate. Camping with horses, summer camps and more such activities too are quite famous here. While pony ride is $10 per person, the fee goes up to $60 depending upon the rides you choose.
