The National Comedy Center
This is honestly my favorite museum I have been to EVER. It is so fun and so interactive and so completely unique compared to any other museum out there.
And its in my hometown of Jamestown, NY, so theres that .
The National Comedy Center is completely high tech, from beginning to end. That being said, with technology there is always the risk that it wont work right, and then what do you do?
But of the three times Ive been here, only one thing was ever shut down because it wasnt working right, and there were so many other things to see that it really didnt matter.
We easily spent over 3 hours here on our first trip, and there was still more to see! Even if you go more than once, you will have a different experience every time.

This 19th-Century living history museum and village is definitely a worthwhile day trip with the kids . You can walk around the preserved Genesee country village of Mumford and check out the old schoolhouse building, heirloom gardens, and homes in the Pioneer Settlement. Along the way, youll catch live demonstrations from the potter and blacksmith, watch fresh bread and pies come out of the brick oven, and livestock roam the farms. Theres also a nature center and trails where you can explore and learn about the woodlands, meadows, old fields, geologic formations, ponds, and streams of the Genesee country. Honestly, we think the adults will enjoy it just as much than the kids!
