Animal lovers of all ages will have a blast visiting the Wellington Conservation Center, an exotic animalsâ sanctuary that many injured or abandoned animals call home. Here guests can see birds and mammals that are treated, cared for, and ultimately rehabilitated or returned to the wild. Some of the centerâs most prominent stars include capybaras, crested porcupines, lemurs, maras, and sloths. Not only exotic animals live here but also farm animals like ferrets, sheep, ducks, and goats, and wild animals like hedgehogs, flemish rabbits, and foxes. On the more colorful side of the spectrum, there are macaws, cockatoos, and parakeets being saved and are living at the center.
