Wausau Festival Of Arts Returns As Part Of Wausaus Artrageous Weekend
WAUSAU, Wis. — As part of Wausau’s Artrageous Weekend, the Wausau Festival of Arts will be back in downtown Wausau with more than 100 artists displaying their art.
Along with art available to purchase, there will be food, music, and more.
After not having it last year due to COVID-19, organizers are excited to be back.
“This is fantastic! And we are so excited for the artists because this is how they make their living,” said Zoe Morning the Wausau Festival of Arts Coordinator.
Other events as part of Wausau’s Artrageous Weekend include Art in the Park, Birds in Art, and the Center for the Visual Arts, which will have classes.

The Wisconsin River From Wisconsin Dells To Wausau

Harvest Fest Planned For Wausau

As cooler weather approaches, Wausau Events is looking forward to their Annual Harvest Fest event taking place next weekend.
Harvest Fest is set from 10 a.m. to 2 p..m. on Oct. 9 at The 400 Block in Downtown Wausau. During the event, the square is transformed into a pumpkin patch with kids activities and crafts, kids tractor pulls, a petting zoo and more.
The event is free to all attendees and is family-friendly.
Many of our events are tradition for those that live in Wausau said Alissandra Aderholdt, Executive Director for Wausau Events. Harvest Fest is an important community event and creates a chance for families to get outside together during the fall months. We are excited to bring our event back this year.
Each child ages 12 and under will receive a free pumpkin thanks to the following sponsors: CoVantage Credit Union, Upper Iowa University, Tundraland, Rasmussen University, BioLife Plasma Services, Great Lakes Cheese, Roastar and Midwest Communications. Food donations will also be collected for Peytons Promise to help fill local food pantries before the holiday season.

Central Wisconsins Water Ski Shows

These water ski shows are performed over three months from June to August every year. They feature mind-blowing performances presented by a team of professional water skiers and every year there is a new theme to the show.
Dating back to 1997, this annual event is a significant part of the local culture of Wausau.

Fall Family Fun A Plenty In Central Wisconsin This Weekend
CENTRAL WISCONSIN, — If you need something to look forward to this weekend, there are plenty of options for you and your family.
If you like food trucks, flea markets, and petting zoos, you have a fun weekend ahead. Wausau Events will be hosting its annual Harvest Fest in the 400 Block on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be kids tractor pulls, face painting, pumpkin decorating, a petting zoo, and food trucks.
The event is free with donations being collected for Peyton’s Promise.
“When people come out we’re just excited to have everybody here to have a community event that is outdoors in a safe location for people as well, especially in these times,” said Alissandra Aderholdt, Wausau Events Executive Director.
You can also check out the Ringle Harvest Day in Ringle, Wisconsin. The streets will be lined with over 100 vendors and there will also be a petting zoo and food stands. This event will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
