Over the years, The Stagecoach Inn served as a hotel, a post office, a restaurant, and a boys military school. The Stagecoach Inn was named a California Landmark in 1965.     The Gardens of the World are a stunning botanical garden in Thousand Oaks, originally opened to the public across from the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza in December of 2001.     This is the main library for Thousand Oaks. It has a wonderful children’s are and a large collection of books, music CDs, Movie DVDs, magazines, genealogy center, etc.. There is a lovely very large aquarium in the center of the library. There is ample parking and a lovely park adjacent to it which is good for picnicking, walking, viewing birds and fish in the ponds.
