Head Out To The Live Turtle Museum At The Chinese Gardens
If you are looking for things to do in Singapore with kids then this is the perfect trip for you. We had such a lovely start to our day exploring Singapores Chinese Gardens. If you need a break and some calm, this is one of the places in our Singapore sightseeing guide that you can come to meander through and chill.
Complete with the 7-Storey Pagoda, Garden of Abundance, Japanese Garden, Bonsai Garden, Twin Pagoda and many other cute spaces, Singapores Chinese Garden is a breath of fresh air. There are little spots along the way to rest, and if we were to go back again I would totally take a little picnic to have in the Bonsai Garden. Some of the Bonsai trees in there have been cultivated since the mid-90s.
One of the hidden gems has got to be the LIVE TURTLE AND TORTOISE MUSEUM. This is the Guinness World Records largest collection of tortoises and turtles. All of the animals in here were formerly privately owned and re-housed here due to their inability to survive if placed in the wild.
A small SGD$5 entry fee and SGD$1 for a bag a food was one hundred percent worth being able to feed the turtles and tortoises and hang about with them while they roamed around inside. We love animals so getting up so close and personal was the best thing ever.
