Nikos Greek Kitchen was established in the Spanish Springs area of Sparks, Nevada in October of 2015 by the husband-and-wife team of Nikos and Jacqui. The couple opened the restaurant with a desire to offer their customers delicious and authentic Greek-inspired cuisine every day of the week. The Sparks Heritage Museum shares the story of how the town of Sparks, Nevada got its start, as well as the rich history of the rest of the state. The STIHL National Championship Air Races, also known as the Reno Air Races, are a five-decade-old September tradition that takes off from the Reno-Stead Airport just a few miles north of the city. Riverwalk And Arts District
The Reno Arts District and the Reno Riverwalk are centrally located on the Truckee River and just steps from Downtown. This area is home to great restaurants and bars, an outdoor beer garden, shopping areas, and a walkway along the Truckee River. The central point of the area is Wingfield Park, which is located on an island in the middle of the river. Various events such as the annual tree lighting and July’s Artown are held here.
