I highly recommend putting your name on the list one or two hours before the time you would like to eat. It is super busy. They do not take reservations.

One of the top things to do in Oak Glen, California, is to go apple picking. Angelinos flock to Oak Glen as soon as apple picking season starts. And again at the end of the season to celebrate the apple butter festival.
In the summer, you can find farms that do berry picking.
There are multiple u-pick apple orchards that you can visit.
Los Rios Rancho
Over 300 acres, this family-owned farm in the mountains is home to 10,000 apple trees. The farm also produces raspberries, corn, strawberries, and pumpkins.
In 2020, the farm suffered a devastating loss due to a fire that engulfed a portion of its facilities. They are open for business and ready to welcome you and your family to their farms.

Willowbrook Apple Farm
Visit a 100-year-old Stayman-Winesap apple farm. Willowbrook Farms has over 300 acres of Stayman-Winesap apples for you to pick. The farm is owned and operated by the Driscoll family since 2018.
From , or until the apples run out, apple picking is open to the public.
If they run out of apples, their fall festivities and stores will remain open with cider and other fall treats.

To enjoy the best of what this town has to offer all at once, head up to Oak Glen during one of the seasonal festivals. Oak Glen goes all out for its festivals, and it feels like the entire town is one big fairground!
In May, the annual Apple Blossom Festival celebrates the spring flowers and the upcoming apple harvest.
And in November, be sure to visit during the Apple Butter Festival. Making apple butter is a centuries-long tradition in the late fall and early winter because it is a great way to preserve the fall apple harvest for the upcoming winter!
Almost every farm, restaurant, and shop joins in on the fun!

Visit A Historic Schoolhouse
Just up the road from Los Rios Rancho is a historic one-room schoolhouse that dates back almost a century.
The beautiful stone schoolhouse was built in 1927 to replace a portable wooden schoolhouse that was built around 1888 and was transported to different parts of the town.
As the town grew, residents built this more permanent building to serve the growing population, and it was used as a school and a community center until 1965 due to new earthquake building standards.
Now officially the Oak Glen School Museum, you can visit this beautiful stone schoolhouse as well as a recreation of the original 1888 schoolhouse to get a taste of what education and mountain life was like over a century ago!

Wilshires Apple Shed: Pizza & Apple Cider
This charming country store, pizza, and coffee house is a gem that should not be missed while in Oak Glen. It offers porch views, specialty coffee drinks, wood-fired pizza, homemade baked goods, hard cider, and cigars.
This is a great spot for lunch or early dinner before closing. Their pizza is prepared in an apple wood-burning pizza oven is delicious. You can taste the high quality and fresh ingredients with every bite.
Pair your pizza with their hard apple cider from Glen Oak Cider Co., and you have the perfect combination. They also have a ginger strawberry fizz drink that is non-alcoholic and quite tasty.
If hard cider and pizza are not for you, there is always coffee and apple pie.
You can enjoy their tasty treats on their cozy porch, in a corner inside their shop, or take a seat at one of their picnic tables around the property.
Tip: There will be a line outside for the bathroom accessible via the porch. Go inside their store, there is another bathroom in the corner that everyone seems to forget about.

Oak Glen is a census-designated place situated between the San Bernardino Mountains and the Little San Bernardino Mountains in San Bernardino County, California, United States. Oak Glen is located 15 miles east of San Bernardino, at an elevation of 4,734 feet . The population was 638 at the 2010 census.
The original settlers, the Cahuilla and the Serrano, harvested acorns many metates can still be found in the streambeds where the acorns were leached. According to Huell Howser‘s 2005 California’s Gold profile, the potato was the original crop grown by the first Caucasians to settle in the area.
The apple orchards produce the Vasquez and King David varieties, which are grown only in Oak Glen, as well as antique varieties no longer commercially available such as Ben Davis, Gravenstein, and Pink Pearl.
Although Oak Glen grew apples mainly for export, in the 1940s several farms began to sell apples, apple pies, apple cider and apple butter at roadside stands. The export trade has virtually disappeared, and growers now earn much of their revenue from visitors who are allowed to pick apples directly off the trees at some of the orchards.

I absolutely loved this place!We went on the Easter egg hunt/wagon ride.Had a wonderful time and we wonderful prizes for finding the eggs.I dont think I have ever met more friendlier staff that here???? They are so knowledgeable and helpful ,and when we asked what else was around there , they were able to direct us to other great places!I love their little store and the food was great! We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches, tritip sandwiches and some hot dogs. All of it was delicious!The botanical garden you can walk with a lake and a floating dock you can walk on and look at the fish swimming and ducks floating around. We had such a wonderful relaxing day.I reccomend.

Oak Glen Los Angeles Overview
Known as the only place in San Bernardino County with fragrant apple orchards that grow a mile high, Oak Glens fame comes from its rustic farmlands and berry fields. This census-designated place in California has a close-knit agricultural community who run casual restaurants, chic cafes, cideries and bakeries selling apple pies from one end of town to the other. Oak Glen has a popular shopping district where you can find fresh seasonal goods, homemade snacks, stylish apparel and gifts for loved ones.
The town has one central road that runs across an idyllic valley with the grand Potato Canyon and Wilshire Creek Canyon on either side. Dotted along mature oaks and pines are group camps for travelers, offering sumptuous tents at the foothills of lush green mountains 4000 feet above sea level. You can enjoy wagon rides for sightseeing, live music and kids crafts during weekends. Yucaipa National Park is a hotspot for pedal boating, picnic grills and disc golf along the picturesque beach. From 27th to 29th November each year, the Apple Butter Festival celebrated here is a uniquely native 16th century tradition to harvest winter preserves. This is also a chance to participate in the neighborhood meetings and contribute to the ardent local businesses.

It comes as no surprise that there is no shortage of fabulous things to eat in a town full of farms and orchards. You can find great food around every corner in this town, but there are certainly some highlights.
Make a pit stop at Snow-Line Orchardfor their famous mini cider donuts that are made with apple cider from their own orchards.
If you feel like staying a bit longer, plan on bringing a picnic to enjoy in their lovely dedicated picnic area and pick up a bottle of their house-made wine or hard cider.
If youre in the mood for something more substantial, head over to Los Rios Rancho for their famous barbecue. Top it off with some apple pie and cider made from apples grown on their historic orchard.
If you need to satisfy a sweet tooth, Apple Annies in Oak Tree Village is the stop for you. This Oak Glen institution is fabulous for any meal, but the real star here is the dessert. Browse the bakery case to marvel at these stunning, skyscraper-like pies.
Another great option that is especially popular with locals is El Mexicano II. Sit on the back patio for awesome Mexican food in a beautiful forest setting.
