House of Yes

You want to dance it up? Then, the House of Yes is your next stop! A unique entertainment venue that invites artists, amateur dancers, and the curious to attend a night full of adventure.

Its not for the faint of heart since many nights easily become more and more scurrilous as the night draws on just a warning but its still a lot of fun .

Have a dine-in movie experience at Nitehawk

The Nitehawk, located in Williamsburg, is a wonderful place to combine two great loves: Food and movies. They show the rather unusual, as well as independent and classic movies, often in the horror genre.

Meanwhile, you can enjoy a juicy burger while sitting back and watching the big screen. They also host midnight screenings and their brunch seating often showcases movies from the 80s. Watch out for a screening of the hilarious cult film The Room.

Brooklyn Bridge Park walk

If youre lucky, on New Years Eve or 4th of July, you might spot some fireworks from just this vantage point! Otherwise, its just a great night walk, seeing the whole city in all of its glory, lit up brighter than the stars in the sky.

You Can Now Hang In Igloos And Go Ice

The Winter Village is backand better than ever.

The Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park, open now through March 6, is poised to once again be one of the most exciting attractions this season.

In fact, in addition to the over 170 holiday shops, kiosks and eateries that make up the destination, the village will play host to two exciting activities for New Yorkers to revel in.

First up: a series of cozy igloos that are heated and overlook the park’s iconic skating rink. Inside the clear and intimate structures, each one decorated with holiday cheer in mind, patrons can order delicious food and drinks to enjoy among friends or family .

Menu standouts include carafes of hot chocolate or salted caramel hot apple cider, mulled wine and buckets of beer, French fries with a variety of delicious dipping sauces, chicken fingers, hot dogs, Bavarian pretzels and even charcuterie and artisanal cheese plates.

If it’s something a bit more active that you’re looking to do, consider visiting the on-site Curling Café, which will offer the first-ever iceless curling experience. Expect dedicated curling lanes where two teams of up to four people each can play some “street” curling for an hour-and-a-half. According to an official press release, the lanes are accompanied by “a private, heated dome where teams can warm up and share seasonal drinks and bites between games.”

Both experiences require reservations ahead of time, which you can make right here.

Tap into your competitive side with a game of mini-golf. The city has a bunch of different courses to choose from.

You can play on Pier 25 with a beautiful view of the Hudson. Or indoors in Brooklyn at an island-themed Shipwrecked.

If youre a movie buff, go to Turtle Cove. Its the same location that Jake LaMotta takes his soon to be wife Vikki in Raging Bull.

The Moxy Hotel even has a rooftop mini-golf course called Foreplay, I am sure you can guess the theme.
