Go Out To Eat At Crosscut Pizzeria And Taphouse

“You want excellent pizza at an awesome location? Want some hand crafted local beer and some simple but fancy food? You want Cross Cut! We were told about this place by our bartendress at the Stanley and unlike in the Shining, this bartender wasn’t full of bad ideas about showing a woman her place by murdering her. The weather was still sunny and cool when we arrived so we opted for a patio spot. I had a hard kombucha while we tasted some delightful canteloupe with prosciutto de Parma. It was drizzled in a little olive oil with some tender pea tendrils and was perfection on a plate. Tastes like a cool summer day! We had one of the meatier options on the menu, but you can have them load your pizza up with veg for all I care. You do you and better yet, they’ll take care of it for you. The wood fired char on the crust makes those pizza bones worth gnawing on! Get you some!”

    Caribou Ranch Open Space

    4.5 based on 14 reviews

    Reviewed By flickrmac

Had been thinking of going here for years. Then read about the famous red barn / recording studio burning down, though not completely. Well, finally went last week and it was well worth it. 1) The hike itself is very easy with minimal elevation gain, and mostly smooth trails. 2) We missed most of the fall foliage, but still had some gorgeous aspens. Definitely need to go next September. 3) There is an extra loop trail with a connection to an old mining camp which is very interesting. The loop, when taken clockwise, brings you back to the ranch’s famous red barn. 4) Be sure to read the history of the ranch itself – well worth knowing the whole story. Max 3 hours to do the main trail, loop, and seeing the Blue Bird mining campsite.

Mesa Verde National Park is one of the top outdoor attractions in Colorado.

So much can be appreciated here, and youll definitely want to take as many photos as possible.

Wed argue this is one of the top 10 national parks in the entire country.

Thanks to the efforts of Teddy Roosevelt, this land was designated a national park.

However, inhabitants of the areas go back much further.

For thousands of years, tribes lived in this area.

Many fun things can be experienced here, such as hiking and seeing the cliff dwellings.

Mesa Verde National Park is a supremely beautiful place.

Let yourself be taken over the wonder of this national park.

Its so remarkable that youll probably be telling people about it for months after.
