The museums exhibits contain uniforms, weaponry, photographs, various documents, and all sorts of other artifacts. There is also constantly growing number of military aircraft located in the museums outside space. All branches of the military are represented, covering the period from WWI to the present day. As a military family we enjoyed browsing the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. As Duck Dynasty fans our kids got a kick out of seeing Uncle Sis military uniform on display. Before you even walk in the door to the museum you can explore and take photos with the military helicopter and truck.
This is another small museum and will not take you long to go through the whole thing. There are numerous glass cabinets filled with items and the gentlemen working inside loves to tell you all about the history of various items. He was a very lovely man.

Biedenharn Museum And Gardens Monroe Louisiana
The Biedenharn Museum and Gardens is a house museum surrounded by the lush ElSong Gardens and built in 1913 by Joseph A. Biedenharn on the banks of the Ouachita River in Monroe, Louisiana. State Parks Near Me: Morrow Mountain State Park
About 6 miles east of Albemarle, Morrow Mountain State Park is a heaven for those who like hiking, camping, fishing, paddling, horseback riding, swimming, or just enjoying the beautiful scenery. There are more than 15 miles of well-maintained hiking trails and 16 miles of bridle trails, which go from the summit of Morrow Mountain to Lake Tillery. The Discovery Zone offers enrichment and links to school curricula in the subjects of history, science and nature, through after-school programs and courses for pre-school children.
If youre just here to visit, admission is completely free, and on the three trails kids can take part in a scavenger hunt with 27 stations, solving clues relating to the local ecology and human history.
