Running Trail By The River
It took almost six month of living next door for us to realize there was a first-rate running and biking trail along the river front downtown. The trail is well-paved and wide enough for easy two-way traffic. The trick is finding it. The best access point weve found is a little tough to find. If you run through the River Market directly toward the river on Main Street, you will hit the Town of Kansas Bridge which has a flight of stairs to the trail. Once you are down the stairs, you are home free for miles.
Stroll Around Crown Center
The Crown Center District is a shopping, dining and entertainment destination in downtown Kansas City. It also the international headquarters of Hallmark Cards.
There are many ways to spend your time at Crown Center. Browse the shops, grab something to eat, take in the outdoor fountains and enjoy the Kansas City skyline in the heart of it all.

For decades, travelers would speed right past Kansas’ best natural secret: the state’s largest Niobrara chalk formation, tucked in a valley between Scott City and Oakley. I used to struggle to find things I would want to do with my children when they were younger in the winter, so I wish we had lived here when they were young!Science City will keep kids and adults entertained, so this isn’t something you’ll come to and be bored with while the kids have fun- you can all have fun! The location is great, as they have the IMAX theater, the train museum, and several other activities close by. You can easily pass half-a-day or longer here, so well worth the money for entry.

Visit Powell Gardens An afternoon stroll through a massive bed of blooming flowers is about as romantic as it gets. With admission starting at $10 rest assured, itll be well worth it. One of the best cheap dates in kansas city.
