Malasadas At Leonards Bakery

15 Best Things To Do in Honolulu (Oahu) – Hawaii Travel Guide

Leonards Bakery is one of the most famous bakeries in Hawaii and it is renowned for its malasadas, which are essentially puffed Portuguese donuts.

When I was on my most recent trip to Honolulu, I stayed right beside the original location in Kaimuki.

Due to jet lag, I was up at absurd hours of the morning and would see the lines already formed at 5:30am when they opened!

Anyway, it is a must-try when youre in Honolulu. They have a few different options of malasadas such as the original , li hing, a cinnamon sugar. They also have ones that are filled with dobash , guava, haupia , and more.
