Catch A Function At Hersheypark Stadium

The Hersheypark Stadium is one of the top places to check out in Hershey. Being located inside the infamous Hersheypark- most people pay a quick visit after they are done enjoying the different fantastic rides at Hersheypark.

Though the stadium originally hosted different games and events related to sports, due to heavy demand- nowadays it also hosts concerts and several performances.

When there is a game, almost 16,000 people can be accommodated here. But, the thing is different when there is any sort of concert. The stadium seems to be overcrowded then for the capacity during any event is 30,000.

The Pennsylvania State Police Museum Hershey Pa

The Pennsylvania State Police Museum is dedicated to the history of the Pennsylvania State Police. The museum contains artifacts, documents, exhibits, memorabilia and memorials. Some of the exhibits include PA State Police Rodeo which displays artifacts from the last rodeo held in 1974 PA State Highway Patrol, an interactive exhibit that includes rare artifacts and documents of the State Highway Patrol Patrol Vehicles, which displays some of the vehicles that were used by the State Police over the years, including a restored 1972 Plymouth Fury and more. Visitors can learn how the Great Anthracite Strike in 1902 resulted in the formation of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Welcome Easter by attending a free non-denominational service by the Hershey Ministerium in the Seasonal Display Garden at Hershey Gardens from 6:30-8:30 a.m. on Easter morning. Coffee and hot chocolate will be provided.

Guests can also enjoy early spring blooms on display throughout the 23-acre walk-through botanical display garden. Keep an eye out for colorful displays of thousands of tulips, including 25 new cultivars, which should be in bloom soon.     Take A Free Tour Of The State Capitol Building

    In nearby Harrisburg, take a free 30-minute guided tour of the state Capitol building. Tours set off every 30 minutes Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4 pm.     Even during the winter months, the Hershey Gardens is still a beautiful location to visit!

    Starting inside the conservatory, kids will love the butterfly atrium! Dozens of butterflies call the atrium home. Kids will not only get to see butterflies eating and flying around, but they can also observe the metamorphosis process. Many chrysalises of various types of butterflies and moths are on display. Your kids may see a butterfly begin to emerge! The atrium is also a welcome reprieve from the winter weather, as it is warm and humid inside.

    After you walk with the butterflies, the kids will love to go outside and play in the Childrens Garden. Although there are no flowers during the winter months, the garden is still full of fun activities for the kids. We loved the Human Sundial and the Botanical Tunes! After playing the garden, take the one-mile stroll around the gardens. The evergreen trees, holly, and even rocks make for a beautiful walk.

    Hersheypark is open Easter weekend for the last weekend of its Springtime In The Park event.
