“We went with our Forest School as a fun field trip for the kids! Everyone loved seeing the Tigers! The information, the show and the love between the trainer and the animals was awesome! We also had an excellent experience setting up the school tour and they were so accommodating and nice working to get us all in. Truly amazing customer service! We went on a different tour to another place in the morning with the kids and then in the afternoon to see the Tigers and all the kids and adults favorite by far was the Tigers!! Thanks for a wonderful experience!”
Showmans Rest And Bull Riders Reprieve
Its one of your more unique cemeteries not just in Oklahoma, but in the US. This is where many of the circus people from years past are buried, and the artwork on the gravestones is some of the most magnificent around.
If youre into art, its a must-see to stop by and tour the scenic grounds.
Its not too often that a graveyard graces a list of attractions, but given the eclectic set of stones youll come across here, its more than worth a trip when you need an hour from the gaming floor at Choctaw Grant.

Indulge Your Taste Buds At The Vintage House
“On a whim I ran up to Burlington Oklahoma to check out a place called the Vintage House. To be honest I didn’t know what to expect. Burlington is a sleepy little farm community that looks much like a Rockwell painting.I walked in to this venue and was pleasantly surprised. Imagine a menu that covers everything from Lobster to Prawns to a Buffalo steak and a beautiful Ribeye that is aged to perfection.I ordered the Ribeye and they brought me out house salad followed by an amazing Baked Potato Soup with homemade bread. It was more than enough but I still ate it all. They then brought out a perfectly cooked Ribeye and baked potato that reminded me of Shulas in Miami…I followed all of this up with a bread pudding and a pecan pie. Both desserts were equally amazing. It’s like telling which of your two kids you love more. It can’t be done.My recommendation is make the drive. You will be glad you did.”

Learn A Thing Or Two At Museum Of World Treasures
“Loved it!! Great time here!! Absolutely loved stopping here with the family last weekend for Customer Appreciation Day! Got in for half price for our party of 5. The 3 year old was free. The kids and my husband and I had a blast seeing all the dinosaur fossils, world relics-along with participating in all the extra activities the museum staff had going on for the kids. There was a farmers market going on outside which was super cool. They had this really cool kids play area on the 3rd floor that was super nice, especially for my 3 year old who had to refrain from touching everything. It was nice to go up there and let her run around to play and touch and to get away from all the stimulation of the museum. The entire area surrounding the museum is awesome! Very urban, reminds me of NY, loved being so close to additional shops, boutiques and restaurants. Will definitely recommend to anyone with kids/families. Something all ages of the group can enjoy. Will definitely be returning!!”

Time To Visit The Great Outdoors At Great Salt Plains State Park
“Gorgeous. I could almost touch the clouds. We saw a deer. And the birds. They are gorgeous. There are beautiful white birds. I felt at home with nature. One of the great things is that you can dig for Salt crystals. This is what the U.S. Government says “April 1 through October 15 the crystal digging area at the refuge will be open for visitors. It is open daily, from sunrise to sunset, and it is free. Bring the family out to the refuge and harvest your own selenite crystals and create memories that will last a lifetime. Address to the digging area gate is: 66003 Garvin Road, Cherokee, OK.”I did dig up crystals and got Salt all over my butt to where I had to change my shorts before I sat back down in my seat. I didn’t get anything amazing but it was fun and I had a good time. Apparently, this is the only place where a specific type selenite Crystal is found. The U.S. Government says “Unique HourglassSalt Plains National Wildlife Refuge is the only known site in the world where unique selenite crystals with hourglass inclusions are found. Because these crystals form in wet soil, sand and clay, particles are included within the crystal giving them their unique “hourglass” shape inside.” I definitely found this!”
