Appreciate The Art At Snite Museum Of Art Notre Dame

On the University of Notre Dame campus, the Snite Museum of Art offers free admission and a dense collection of 19th- and 20th-century artworks. The collection spans different cultures and significant periods of world art history. The museum also hosts a constantly rotating selection of new exhibits, including thesis projects by current MFA students at the university.

The museum is open to the public Tuesdays through Saturdays, with more limited hours on Saturdays. And operated by the museum a couple of blocks away, the newly instated Charles B. Hayes Sculpture Garden allows visitors to enjoy aesthetic art and nature throughout the year.

The University of Notre Dame offers plenty more to explore for students and community members alike. It’s not hard to find inspiration when stepping foot into the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on campus, as well as the adjacent Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes spiritual shrine.

The nearby Compton Family Ice Arena is a great place to catch a hockey game or get on the ice yourself. For many, attending Fighting Irish football games at Notre Dame Stadium is a way of life and much-anticipated activity every season.

A Note From Starhawk On Donations

I strive to make my teachings accessible, and dont ever want money to be a barrier to people getting the information, skills and resources they need. I also believe people should be paid fairly for their work.

Frankly, these two values sometimes seem to be in conflict. My team and I do the best we can to find a fair balance. I offer many resources for free or at very low cost, and charge for others. When you donate for a ritual or pay at the top of our scale, that helps support the work I do, provides access for those who have fewer resources, and helps us keep the work sustainable.

I know this is a hard time for many of us financially as well as in every other wayand that includes myself and my team who have also lost major sources of their livelihoods in the past 2 years. We are deeply grateful for the generosity so many of you have shown, and are thrilled to be able to offer this event by donation to make it accessible to as many people as possible. We encourage you to donate what feels comfortable for you, whether that’s $5 or $500.

We can take care of one another! Thank you!
