Day 3 In Frisco Co: Golf And Vail

We started our third day at Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks. After we finished our round, we drove to Vail for lunch at Up the Creek. We then tried to take the gondola to the top but decided not to after hearing about the price. Pro tip: After 5 pm, take the Eagle Bahn Gondola to the top. It was amazing!

When you get to the top of the mountain, you can see for miles in every direction. Having only seen an all-white landscape during ski season, it is interesting to see so much green. I recommend riding the gondola up to the top at the twilight rate. The night ended with pizza at Whole Foods in Frisco followed by wine and games.

BOGO Copper Mountain summer activities now! Frisco ...

Frisco Adventure Park on Recreation Way is the prettiest outdoor park for adrenaline junkies Ive ever seen. My boys, avid skateboarders, declared the newly renovated 28,000-square-foot skate park to be the coolest in the United States. After scarfing their delicious lunch and Butterhorn Bakery treats, they raced off to skate for two hours straight.

While they were occupied, my 7-year-old and I marveled at the biking daredevilssome as young as 3and she played on the rock-climbing structures nearby.

In warm months, all activities at Frisco Adventure Park are free. Just bring your own skateboard, bike, or Frisbee.

When it snows, you can go cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, try ice fishing, reserve seats aboard scenic sleigh rides or chuck wagon rides, sled down the free sledding hill at the Frisco Nordic Center, and make a reservation to go tubing down a 1,200-foot tubing hill.

We hope to return to enjoy all of those winter adventures. Id love to snowshoe across miles of trails with Rocky Mountain views.
