Can You Share A Cool Secret Place That Only The Locals Know About
I dont know how secret it is but Maxines Tap Room is a cool little late night spot. Its easy to miss from the street but as you enter the small, almost hidden front door youll immediately realize you have come to the right place. Food, drinks, and darts. Need I say more?
Maxines Tap Room: We pour quality cocktails and make memories in this little brick building in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville. We caretake the bar in honor of Maxine Miller, who built this place to serve drinks, create memories, and host friends. As an homage to a woman who was a mother to many in our community, the bar was remodeled in 2013. Many of the original fixtures remain, as do many old photographs of Maxine through her life. We tip our hats to an era when cocktails were stout, well balanced, and crafted with fresh ingredients. We are honored to partner with Maxines family as caretakers of a place named after a woman who affected and was adored by many. The longer were here, the more stories we hear from the many different eras of Maxines Tap Room. We strive to continue the stories and memories made in this very spot with live music, drinks, and friends.

Lost Valley Trail To Eden Falls

If youre willing to go a bit outside of Fayetteville, you can find even more natural beauty.
Although driving to this trailhead takes about an hour and a half, and the hike itself is two miles round trip, you get to see a waterfall on your hike!
Im a sucker for natural beauty, and even though Im not much of a hiker, Ill do a shorter, easier hike like this one to capture beauty on camera!
If youre a seasoned hiker, this will probably be a walk in the park.
For the rest of us, bring plenty of water and consider wearing hiking boots since the path can be uneven at times.

Going to the movies is a lot of fun.
However, while giant multiplexes might be able to fit in more than a dozen screens, theres a lack of soul to them.
Cameo Art House Theater brings this crucial aspect back to the moviegoing experience.
Seeing a movie here can feel like youre seeing a film back in the early days of cinema.
In a way, thats exactly right, as The Cameo has been around since the 1920s.
Their lineup even includes some classic movies, ones that you mightve only previously seen on television, or have had on your bucket list for years.
Additionally, they also show new films, including many of the most acclaimed films released each year.
In addition to films, the Cameo Art House Theatre also hosts excellent concerts.
