Get Cultured At Great American Dollhouse Museum
“Absolutely amazing. My partner and I LOVE miniatures, and we were ecstatic to find this museum/shop. It greatly surpassed our expectations. When you first walk in you are able to browse the seemingly endless amounts of unique miniature items, dollhouses, kits, etc- all quality and at a reasonable price range. There is a self-guided museum with 3 exhibits towards the back of the building which is so detailed and expansive that you could probably spend a good 2 hours looking at. Also, I forgot to mention, the owner is friendly and very knowledgeable about miniatures! I would highly recommend this to anyone, as it’s interesting for all ages. “

This used to be the Federal Building but they have taken it and turned it into a community art center. They have a lot of good programs there for children and adults. It is worth the trouble to look at their schedule to see what is going on now. Anyone wanting to help their children, or to learn more about art this is the place.
Constitution Square Historic Site
At this three-acre park in downtown Danville you can visit the place where the first Kentucky constitution was written and signed.
In what was then known as Crows Station, this square became the location for the Supreme Court for the District of Kentucky, built in 1785 and in use until Kentucky gained statehood in 1792.
The site soon fell into disuse, but became a state park in 1937 , and is littered with historical markers, monuments and reconstructed historical structures, like the log cabin courthouse, meetinghouse, jail and stocks.
One original building is the old post office, the first west of the Allegheny Mountains, and constructed before 1792.
A modern defining feature on the west side is the Governors Circle, honoring each Governor of Kentucky, above all Isaac Shelby , who was the first and fifth governor.

See The City With Mint Julep Experiences
“We set up a complete day tour of the Bourbon trail with Mint Julep. Lisa, the owner, created a custom tour for me and provided wonderful distilleries for us to visit. Our driver, Bobby Norris, was personable and extremely knowledgeable on Kentucky heritage, bourbon distilleries and the cities we drove through. His hospitality was outstanding. Being from New Orleans, we have high standards on hospitality. However, Lisa and Bobby not only met, but exceeded our expectations to make our day on the Bourbon trail a wonderful experience. Consistently, as we visited the distilleries, the employees we spoke to said “Mint Julep tours is the best!!”. I would highly recommend using Mint Julep Experiences for any of your tours in the Louisville area.”
