Stop : Mill Springs Battlefield Museum And Visitor Center
Take a trip back in time and tour the Mill Springs Battlefield Museum and Visitor Center. The museum is home of the Combat on the Cumberland, an exhibit featuring the Battle of Mill Springs. Along with the Visitor Center is a 10-stop, self-guided driving tour. Learn about the history of each leg while standing on the ground on which soldiers fought more than 150 years ago.
Be sure to visit the Confederate mass grave at Zollicoffer Park and look out over the crossing at North Ferry landing. Two of your stops are located on the other side of the lake however, your day trip around the lake will bring you to those spots. From Hwy 235, your next stop will be located back out on Hwy 80.
Golden Ticket Cinemas Middlesboro 4
At the north end of Middlesboro Mall is a compact, four-plex movie theater that has changed hands a few times in the last decade.
The cinema was opened by Carmike, which was taken over by AMC in 2016. This AMC location closed down for good during Covid, but was soon acquired by the Golden Ticket Cinemas chain.

“My husband and I booked two days with mint julep tours using a 4-person vehicle. Initially it was only the two of us, but then I solely found out that I had friends in the area and the company was so nice to allow us to just add the two people. They just needed to know a few days ahead of time for tour bookings. They assisted with a the reservations and bookings and were willing to look into smaller distileries. Most places you have to do a tour to do a tasting.The car was super clean and super comfortable. They supplied a cooler for us to bring drinks for in between the tastings. Anyway it was 2 days and it was awesome! I highly recommend mint julep tours. They are so professional and very helpful”

“The staff and management are amazing! Talk about southern hospitality, we felt like family.We stayed in the only King room which was recently renovated. The decor was beautiful and the room was comfy. Even though the room was spacious, the space was not effectively utilized. My recommendation is to provide a bigger table in the sitting area and maybe some blackout drapes. Our intention was just to be lazy and stay in, so we brought food back to the room and really didn’t have anywhere to comfortably eat. Additionally, we wanted to sleep in, but the room lit up as sun as the sun arose.Overall though, everything else was truly wonderful and we would return, as well as, recommend to anyone looking for a quaint comfortable place near the lake!”

“Absolutely gorgeous state park, words couldn’t even begin to describe. Stopped spur of the moment on a roadtrip from WV to TN, in hopes to find a restroom, but ended up finding so much more!Our 5 minute pit stop ended up being 2 hours.$5 admission fee per vehicle. Well worth the price for all they have to offer. My first ride on a chair lift $4 per person for a round trip. They let us take our little PomChi free of cost.We explored Lover’s leap and enjoyed the plaques displaying the legendary story. My boyfriend and I made a pact we will make a trip down to rent a cabin or take advantage of their camping area.We also lucked out and got to see a train!!This place is a must see.”

Time To Visit The Great Outdoors At Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
“I am very, very happy that I decided to drive three hours one way to stay a night at this park. The campsites were quiet and respectful at night and many sites come with their own wooden balcony-type structure. I do have to note, if you are arriving at the campsite past dark, there are some steeper drop-offs near the sites, so make sure to illuminate your path! I also have to note that it would be convenient to receive coordinates of the campsite upon reserving, however there is cell service at these cites! There is a grocery store near the campsites as well, however in the early hours that we stayed at the cite it was closed. The lodge was quaint. It mainly had rentable rooms and a restaurant where I was able to order to-go coffee. They told me they would only charge me for one when I ordered two, which was very kind! The gift shop is the only other building that was open early-ish and was a lovely, local-seeming place to grab a souvenir. The Cumberland Falls was beautiful with multiple different overlooks to walk to. We decided to take the trail along the river to see Eagle Falls and it was very much worth it . While I was parked in the Eagle Falls trail small parking lot, someone must have clipped my car, as there was a scrape in it when I came back, so be careful in that lot! Overall, it was a gorgeous and jaw-dropping park and I will be back! Thanks, Kentucky State Parks!”

The Great American Dollhouse Museum in Kentucky is a must-see location thats a little abnormal but full of charm and mystery.
It houses more than 200 unique dollhouses, as well as tiny little dolls within them.

See The Unusual Sights Of Cumberland Falls State Resort Park
Located entirely in the Daniel Boone National Forest, the magnificent Cumberland Falls State Resort Park is one of the most sought-after destinations west of Corbin.
It covers 1,657 acres of land, featuring large swaths of forests, trails, outlooks, and the Cumberland River.
But the most prominent feature of this park is the eponymous waterfall.
Cumberland Falls is one of the few places in the western hemisphere where a moonbowa rainbow formed by the moonlightcan regularly be seen.
This sight, along with the ephemeral mist and boulder-strewn gorge, creates a magical scenery that even classic fairytales havent imagined.
Catching the moonbow might warrant a few nights of visits to the falls, but there are some lodges in the park where you can stay for as long as necessary.
During the day, you can explore the other sections of the destination, including Eagle Falls and the Interpretive Center.
