Things To Do In Conejo Valley

A Weekend In The Conejo Valley

Conejo Valley Things to Do

I had the pleasure of not only exploring Conejo Valley for the first time recently but doing it with the help and guidance of the Conejo Valley tourism team. They put together a fantastic three day trip for our small group to experience a variety of things the region had to offer. Below you will find our itinerary that I hope will inspire you to plan your next trip there.

Lure Fish House Westlake

A great place for fresh seafood in Conejo Valley is Lure Fish House in Westlake. Lure specializes in mesquite charbroiled fresh and sustainable seafood from trusted sources. The menu at Lure changes everyday to reflect the local catches. Among the items we tried was super fresh halibut from Malibu.

Ladyface Ale Companie Agoura Hills

As if I would not be impressed with a place serving local craft beer, cool food, and wonderful specials at 3pm, we walked into a filming of a Travel Channel show. So, yes, I am impressionable, but if Ladyface is good enough for the Travel Channel researchers, it works for me.

Hanging at closest #craftbeer place to set so I wonder if people here are real. ???????? #VisitConejoValley#ConejoValley#travel

Hampton Inn Agoura Hills

Conejo Valley California McCool Travel

We were feeling pretty restless after our travels and the festival, so we headed to the Hampton Inn Agoura Hills to check in. This is right down the street from Paramount Ranch and centrally located from many other local attractions. I have to tell you guys, I recommend this hotel 100% for more than its location. It is super nice/clean, the staff were over-the-top friendly, the amenities were many, the wifi/parking/breakfast was free and much more.

Is there anything better than checking into a hotel after a long day? That feeling!

and then quickly Gabe was reaching for the remote, because cartoons are so much better in a hotel room.

Their tasting rooms are famous and well worth the visit alone, however, thats not all they have. Theyve got hiking and safari tours, both of which Ive yet to do until my stay in Conejo Valley.

After our lunch and dessert were finished, we headed over to Malibu Wines to explore the 1,000 acres of Saddlerock Ranch and their vineyard in Malibu. Our group boarded a safari jeep with other guests, where our guide and driver generously provided us with both facts about the vineyard, as well as their fabulous wines.
