I took my daughter here for the first time for the “By the light of the Moon” event listed in the Montgomery County calendar of events. This is a little gem in Montgomery County. The event was quite a bit of fun. They have a number of animals and birds, which range from common farm animals to wolves, deer, hawks, owls, amphibians, reptiles, etc. The staff are very knowledgeable about the animals and it is evident that have close bonds with them as well. This is a great place for the family to visit for a couple hours and would absolutely be great for little kids. The park is just big enough that it will keep the little ones from loosing interest and getting too cranky. I would recommend visiting the park with the kids as it’s close, family friendly and affordable.
