Check Out The Murals At Gordon Square
I love a good mural! Korea has them all over the place from random countryside schools to whole mini-villages in bigger cities. Cleveland has them aplenty, especially around Gordon Square. Heres a map of them so you can decide where to start.
The whole area is considered an art district, so if you have more time, Id check out the area for a bit longer than we had. Our Lyft driver recommended Sweet Moses for ice cream!

Check Out The Cleveland Museum Of Contemporary Art
From Lakeview or Moonstruck, walk down to MOCA or Clevelands Museum of Contemporary Art. Youll notice the geometric style building, which is designed by Iranian architect, Farshid Moussavi. Its free to enter, and youll find something interesting to see in 3 of the 4 floors . When I went, my favorite was the Lee Mingwei exhibit called You Are Not a Stranger.
Fun fact MOCA was actually founded by all women in 1968!

Worlds Largest Rubber Stamp
Lucky-photographer / Shutterstock
If youre seeking for fun things to do in Cleveland, you really need to look no further than this singularly unique world-record-breaking, unusual item: a rubber stamp that measures 49 feet.
The stamp reads Free across its bottom in big red letters, a homage to the Soldiers and Sailors Monument of Cleveland opposite the building it is housed in.
The rubber stamp was commissioned by Alton Whitehouse, the CEO of Standard Oil of Ohio, in 1985.
Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, a wife and husband pair who are also well-known sculptors, created the gigantic piece to add a pop of color to the greyscale appearance of the 659-foot tall Sohio Building.
It wasnt until 1991 that this stamp was finally brought out of a warehouse and placed in downtown Cleveland, Ohio from a storage facility in Indiana.
It had waited there because Robert Horton, the CEO of British Petroleum a company that bought over Sohio did not approve of it.
Now, it waits in Willard Park, finally receiving the spotlight it deserves.

A Christmas Story House & Museum
Many people across the planet love the seasonal, fantastical tale of A Christmas Story, especially due to its 1983 film based on the original book.
But little do many know that theres a slice of that delightful story right in Cleveland, Ohio!
This house is where the film was originally set, chosen for rather unflattering reasons its dated 1940s style was rather plain, making it the ideal setting for many scenes.
Since then, though, the house owner has really capitalized on this unique Cleveland wonder.
Theyve put up Christmas decor, and they even sell furniture replicas! Its a true homage to the heartwarming narrative.
The inside of the house looks just like it did in the movies, and plenty of exhibits are interactive, so you can enjoy doing some things you saw in the movies!

Unique & Fun Things To Do In Cleveland Ohio
Who knew there were so many fun and unique things to do in Cleveland, Ohio?! Turns out, this underrated city has a lot to offer.
This post is in collaboration with Destination Cleveland. All opinions are my own.
You know when you and a city just click? I felt that way about London way back as a student, and I always feel that way when I get a chance to visit San Francisco. Well, imagine my surprise when I felt that click only partway through my weekend in Cleveland!
I had absolutely no expectations when I took on a campaign to work with Destination Cleveland. As far as US travel goes, Ohio doesnt pop up on anyones radar, much less Cleveland. It always had a grittier reputation like there wasnt much worth seeing in the way of history or architecture, and, of course, many of the neighborhoods werent exactly safe for visitors. Even local Ohioans we chatted with said the Cleveland of today is much different than the one of even a decade ago.
Well, I can only describe the Cleveland of today as cool. My mom was equally impressed as we toured around the city. The neighborhoods that might not have been the safest to walk a few decades ago are now full of world-class eateries, and the architecture that may have once fallen into disrepair has never looked better. The city has come up in a way that avoids crazy gentrification, and most locals I talked to were more than happy with how their hometown has changed.

Y The Night Away At The Flats
Knight Foundation
So you want a party? Then heading to The Flats might just be the best thing to do in Cleveland at night for you. Located along the Cuyahoga River, this neighbourhood is a mix of industrial and entertainment areas and is, as you might imagine, the best place to let loose in the city.
Redeveloped and fittingly gentrified, The Flats has come back to life with a mix of live music venues, bars and restaurants, all set along the waterfront. The best places here include Harbor Inn a proper dive bar Hive Bar Social, with some great drinks on offer, and Alley Cat Oyster Bar serves up seafood along the riverfront.
