Alpacas, ducks, rabbits, calves, goats, and even miniature horses all are waiting to meet you. Bavarian Inn

Previously known as the Fischers Hotel, the Bavarian Inn is the originator of the chicken dinner. It was sold to the Zehnder family in 1950. We love this Michigan zoo as you can get up close to the animals! You can feed adorable running baby goats and hear the lions roar all the way across the zoo!

My absolute favorite part of the zoo is feeding the parakeets! They are so chirpy and excited to eat the seed on the sticks. It’s so much fun!

Just be sure to shuffle your feet and look down as you walk because there are tons of birds on the ground pecking at the fallen seed. There is a small fee to feed the colorful parakeets.
