Bachelor Party On Dirty Sixth Street
Lets head east on Sixth Street for the main event, the Bourbon Street of Austin, Dirty Sixth. Youll want to take out-of-towners here just to experience the bars, energy, and the guy who stands in the middle of the street with a live snake around his neck.
If you want food before the show, then I recommend Easy Tiger for sausage, pretzels, and an extensive beer list. If you think your party can be quiet for an extended period of time, then an Esthers Follies show is highly recommended. Youll get song, dance, comedy, and magic. And yes, theres a bar and intermission.
Once your party is well-fed, start your Dirty Sixth crawl at Cheers Shot Bar. Head to the back of the first floor and order your group some Flaming Dr. Pepper shots. Then get out of the way and watch the show.
From there, lead your group over to Maggie Maes, Blind Pig Pub, Shakespeares, and whatever else catches your eye. These bars are big and rowdy, and have rooftops ideal for people-watching as you look down at the mob on the street below.
If youre into craft cocktails and a speakeasy vibe, then try out Firehouse Lounge or Floppy Disk Repair . Youll have to figure out how to get into both speakeasies, but I have faith. Bachelor party-goers are nothing if not resourceful.

How To Get Around
If youre downtown, walking is a breeze. However, Austin is huge and there are a lot of little niche neighborhoods, so have Uber or Lyft at the ready. You can also brave the bus if you want to annoy the locals and deal with grifters, but, overall, count on breaking out your phone to order a car or wear comfy shoes. Remember: If you decided to book a bachelorette in Austin, TX, during the heat of summer, a car with AC is going to be your best bet. It gets hot af down there.

Where Is The Best Nightlife In Austin
Fortunately, Austin nightlife is concentrated in several areas that are all nearby. You will definitely want to hit Dirty 6th or the area of 6th Street west of I35 until Congress. This area has many bars worth exploring, and its generally a younger crowd. Think shot bars.
Rainey Street is a short 2 block section of a street containing houses that have been turned into trendy restaurants and bars. Bangers Sausage House and Beer Garden is the most popular. Think huge beer garden. They make creative wild game sausage in house and have 200 beers on tap. If you are looking for more exclusive Texas craft beer offerings, head into Craft Pride. Its a chill, casual place to drink a beer. They have a nice back patio that often has live music. Via 313 is a tasty pizza trailer located there as well. Dont miss the Container Bar, where shipping containers have been stacked and arranged to make up the bulk of the building. Its different and cool and always popping. Recently, people have been loving Unbarlievable for their eccentric decor and drinks. The point is, dont be afraid to explore and bar hop. You can easily spend a whole evening here in the Rainey district. Note the street is overrun with bachelorettes on the weekend as well.
Bachelor Party On Rainey Street

Rainey Streets bustling section of bars and restaurants is located a few blocks south of Sixth Street. I always plan at least one dinner at Bangers Sausage House & Beer Garden, where bachelor party friends can eat sausage and drink beer to their hearts content. Look around and youll realize youre in good company. Im not the only one with this bachelor party dinner recommendation.
Rainey Street was residential in the not-too-distant past. But these days during peak hours, it can feel like all of Austin is on the same street. My strategy here: choose a bar that feels right, and move on to the next one when you get antsy. I usually end up at Half Step, Lucilles, and Lustre Pearl at some point.
Looking for a bar with an extensive beer list? Craft Pride is your place. Side note: Via 313 is in the back. Yes, I realize this is the third time Ive mentioned Via 313 locations. It is a must. My other favorite food trailer on Rainey is Wild Taco, located near the entrance to Bungalow. I recommend the al pastor quesadilla.
Almost every bar on Rainey has cocktails, an outside area, and games. Container Bar is the most notorious dancing bar on the street. And its made out of shipyard containers, so theres that. On a small street like this, if you dont want to be waiting late into the night, be sure to get your car a bit before the bars close at 2 a.m., when every other partier has the same idea.

During the summer months, Austin can become unbearably, cant-step-outside-or-youll-feel-like-youre melting hot. Temperatures reach and exceed 100 degrees between June and August and the Texan summer humidity can be paralyzing and brutal.
In order to make sure that your bride tribe has the most fun possible, and is able to wander outside, we recommend avoiding the summer months. The best times to come to Austin are September to November or March to May. The temperatures during that time flow between the 70s and 80s and the city are sparkling, breezy, and gorgeous.

Pm Dinner At Vince Young Steakhouse

All that sun has made you hungry, good thing you made a reservation at Vince Young Steakhouse . The classic steakhouse is sometimes overshadowed by flashier steak and seafood houses full of businessmen slapping down cards in every shade of the baller rainbow, you know, black, gold, platinum, and titanium. However, Vince Young Steakhouse has a culinary team who absolutely nail every dish. The Akaushi Perfect 10 is a perfectly seasoned, perfectly seared steak that every guest should try, in addition to the lobster rolls and mac and cheese with house-cured bacon. Close out your meal with a round of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon and a cigar you can purchase from the steakhouses humidor.
