My favorite spot to rent SUPs is at Rowing Dock their team is super friendly, will give you basic paddling instruction before you hit the water, and theyre super centrally located . Truly this is one of the best ways to beat the heat, get some beautiful downtown views, and hang with friends. They also have a variety of guided paddle tours for those interested in learning more about our city!

Little Shop Of Horrors
Ordinarily performed on a hillside across from Barton Springs Pool, the annual summer musical presentation by Zilker Theatre Productions has moved to the Hill Country Galleria Central Plaza lawn this year. Catch a performance of horror-comedy rock musical Little Shop of Horrors Thursday through Sunday nights through Aug. 14. While the family-friendly musical is free, advanced reservations are required.

Dig Into The Spooky Spirit At Various Halloween

Your hair will stand on end as you enter, and hopefully emerge intact from, three horrifying haunted houses. Watch The Bats Fly Out From The Congress Bridge
Wondering why there are hundreds of people standing at Congress Bridge at sunset? Over 1.5 million Mexican free-tailed bats fly out from the Congress Avenue Bridge almost every night. Austin has the largest urban bat colony! Its a pretty incredible sight to watch the bat colony fly out thats worth standing for.
