Things To Do In Atlanta On 4th Of July

Fantastic Fourth At Stone Mountain Park

Happy 4th of July!

This week-long celebration runs from . The Lasershow begins at dusk, with fireworks directly afterward. Stone Mountain will put on the same spectacular display each night for that whole week. The Lasershow and fireworks are no longer free. You can buy a general admission ticket for lawn seating for $10 and youll also have to pay $20 for parking, unless youve purchased a $40 parking pass.

If you want to spend the entire day at Stone Mountain Park, you can currently get an Attractions Pass for just $19.99 on Groupon but note that July 3rd and 4th are blackout dates. The pass is not valid on those two days of the celebration.

Sunday, July 3, 2022 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Come to this festive block party in downtown Norcross for fun and fireworks! There will be assorted food vendors in addition to the local downtown merchants. Kids activities include face painting, bounce houses, and more. Some activities may have a slight fee, but admission to the event and fireworks are FREE.

The city will no longer hold its annual Duluth Celebrates America event . In its place, Duluth will host Kickoff to the 4th, as part of its Fridays-n-Duluth series of events. There will be food trucks, live music on multiple stages, face painting, a photo booth, and more.

Athens Star Spangled Classic

Athens, GA, celebrates with unlimited music, Southern food, and firework shows in Downtown and at Southern Brewing Company. The Star Spangled Classic Fireworks Celebration starts on June 30th at around 5 p.m. with live music, food trucks and children’s fun on Washington Street and College Avenue. Dazzling fireworks are launched with patriotic music at 9:30 pm from Athens Ben Epps Airport.

A highly anticipated event, the Centennial Olympic Park fireworks celebration is back with a brand-new name: Look Up Atlanta! The ticketed event on July 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. will showcase food trucks, access to Centennial Park and lawn viewing areas to see the sky light up in red, white and blue. General admission tickets are available for $10, with a $40 VIP ticket option that provides access to the VIP Village, front row viewing opportunities and free parking.

Red White And Boom Celebration

Raise a glass to the red, white, and blue at this annual bustling block party in historic Olde Town Conyers. Red, White, and BOOM! is a family-friendly free* event that will kick off at 6 p.m. on July 3rd. Pint-sized patriots can enjoy arts and crafts, carnival games, food, and more. Meanwhile, liberty-loving adults can indulge in libations at the beer garden and live entertainment.

Dunwoodys 4th of July Parade features festive floats, marching bands, vintage cars, clowns and animals. This years theme is Parade of Stars. The event is so popular its grown to include more than 2,500 participants and over 32,000 spectators.

If youd like to watch the parade, set up a chair along Mt. Vernon and circle around the Dunwoody Village Parkway into Dunwoody Village. Viewing will start on the west side of Jett Ferry on Mt. Vernon.

1) Centennial Olympic Park 4th of July Celebration: The fun for the whole family starts from noon till 5pm so arrive at the park early. Childrens activities are in the south end of the Park around the Fountain of Rings from noon to 5 p.m. Entertainment includes arts and crafts, face painting, performances, inflatables, stilt walkers and more! Or families can relax on the Great Lawn and splash in the world famous Fountain of Rings. The live entertainment will start at 6:30 pm till 9pm and end with the Firework.

Tips: Arrive early for the family friendly activities and you might not want to stay till late at night. Kids might be restless and it might be way too late for them. Parking might be limited so look for alternative like MARTA. If you do choose to go with MARTA, definitely plan to leave early and catch the firework at the comfort of your home.
