In neighboring Poncey Highlands, the Highland Inn has a neighborhood feel and budget-friendly rooms. The Loews Atlanta Midtown Hotel is another well-located hotel in Midtown, while The American Hotel was renovated back to its midcentury roots as it was the citys first desegregated hotel.
If you want to splurge, the Mandarin Oriental cant be beaten with luxurious amenities in the heart of Buckhead. And if you want to feel like a local, there are plenty of Airbnb properties.
How To Get There
One thing not enough Atlantans talked about is how f*cking huge the airport is, which is great because basically every airline flies into/out of Hartsfield-Jackson, so getting a flight could not be more easy. Its also the Delta hub, so theres also that. Unless youre coming from, like, Nashville, I highly recommend flying from wherever you live to get to Atlanta. Please note, before you land: absolutely nobody down here calls it Hotlanta, so dont embarrass yourself.
