From calming rose gardens to a thrilling roller coaster and amusement park. Steel Force is a steel roller coaster located at Dorney Park in Allentown. This roller coaster opened for rides on May 30, 1997. Steel Force is said to be the tallest and longest roller coaster on the East coast. There is 5,600 feet of track, a 205-foot drop, and its maximum speed is 75 miles per hour. It is one of the 10 largest steel coasters in the world. In 2001 Steel Force was featured on the Discovery Channel Special, Top Ten Coasters. Besides the 205-foot drop, you have three other hills 161-feet, 100-feet, and 85-feet. Steel Force also came in fourth place, two years in a row, for the Golden Ticket Awards: Best Steel Coaster.

Get hyped for Phantoms Phrenzy on the ArtsWalk! Two hours before every home game, there will be a party across 7th Street from the PPL Center. Lights On The Lake In Altoona
Lights on the Lake is a festive drive-through display in Altoonas Lakemont Park.
This display covers more than 50 acres of land and does a great job incorporating the amusement parks rides and attractions into some of its unique displays. This gives it a bit of a different look and feel that separates it from some of the states other drive-through displays.
In addition to the drive-through portion, Lights on the Lake also features Santas Gift Shop, which features not only gifts and snacks, but also a model railroad and the chance to visit Santa himself.

Join Berks Sinfonietta as Berks County’s chamber orchestra continues its exploration of the early classical symphony with “Haydn in Paris” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, 740 Cherry St., West Reading.
Henri-Joseph Rigel was a German pianist and composer who lived most of his life in Paris, where he wrote operas, string quartets and symphonies, including “Symphony No. 4 in C minor.”
The concert closes with one of Haydn’s most popular works, “Symphony No. 83 in G Minor,” sometimes referred to as “The Hen.”
All attendees are asked to mask. The concert will also be live-streamed for the cost of an at-will donation. Anyone can join by visiting Berks Sinfonietta’s website.
