Boardwalks In Nj That You Wont Want To Miss

Best Beaches in NJ for a Vacation

There is a mile of fun on the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk, one of the most popular boardwalks in NJ.

Point Pleasant Beach NJ BoardwalkLocated on Point Pleasant Beach, Jenkinsons Boardwalk isnt as long as some other boardwalks in NJ, but it offers just as much family fun. At the north end is Jenkinsons Aquarium, which celebrates 30 years of educating the public on marine life through its exhibits and programs featuring penguins, seals, and more. Right outside the aquarium doors are some dining and drink options, including late-night fun at Jenks Club and Martells Tiki Bar. But the big deal here is the rides, with plenty of options for smaller kids and thrilling slides and coasters for bigger kids. New for 2021 is the Adventure Lookout ropes course and 7D Dark Ride, an interactive ride that tests your skills fighting carnival creatures or zombies. If your kids crave video games, slot machines, crane games, and skeeball, there are four locations to enjoy. There is also a funhouse, batting cages, two mini-golf courses, and, of course, more boardwalk games up and down the boardwalk for the whole family.300 Ocean Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742

The Boardwalk in Wildwoods has over 100 rides and attractions.

The Asbury Park Boardwalk is a mix of fresh sea air and a little bit of rock n roll.

Saltwater Taffy, shops, and the sea line the Ocean City Boardwalk.

The Seaside Heights boardwalk is full of rides, mini-golf, food, games and fun for all ages.

Bring Home Fresh Florals

Get lost in a maze of sunflowers, or take in the sweet aromas of lavender while taking home a floral souvenir of your day. Flower picking and even admiring the fields is an insta-worthy and relaxing activity for the whole family. So get a whiff of aromatic lavender at a lavender farm in New Jersey and take home some lavender treats from lavender lotions, lavender tea, or lavender for baking. And summer isnt complete without picking your own sunflowers or getting lost in a sunflower maze.

Kids love animals, and you have to admit that you love them too. So, if you want to visit the cute baby giraffes or other animals, plan a day trip to the Turtle Back Zoo. The staples:

Hoboken & Jersey City

The most known towns for perfect New Jersey summer vibes are Hoboken and Jersey City. And for good reasons. The Historic Cold Spring Village is a small country community frozen in time. This open-air museum of Early American history includes 25 well-preserved buildings, mostly dating from the early to mid 1800s, including a barn, woodworking shop, blacksmith shop, pottery shop, one-room schoolhouse, and an inn that was a stopping place for stagecoach travelers.
