Members of the OAS will have telescopes set up for solar viewing beginning at 5:00 pm. Dark sky viewing will begin when its dark. This is a come and go as you wish event public is encouraged to come. Meet at the White Rock Bay/Back Country Trailhead.

Join the park naturalist at the Gravel Pit Trailhead at 6:15 pm for a 1-mile hike to watch the sun set and the full moon rise over the Wasatch Mountains. Dogs are welcome but must remain on a 6 physical leash at all times. This program is free but regular park entry fees apply. Contact tackley@utah.gov with any questions.

Come and watch over 200 riders on horseback round up the islands 750 bison during the annual bison roundup. The roundup is an important part of the bison and island management.
