Kazimierz Wine & Whiskey Bar is the perfect spot for whiskey, wine, and cocktail lovers. The wine menu features numerous red and white wines from around the world, both by the glass and by the bottle.
The whiskey menu offers over 100 different types of whiskey and it even includes Japanese and rare whiskey. The cocktail menu offers many different kinds of cocktails, including both classic cocktails such as Penicillin and Sazerac, as well as unique cocktails that are made from scratch.
Though Kazimierz Wine & Whiskey Bar is known for its drinks, they also have a dinner menu that includes flatbreads, a chefs board, a shrimp cocktail, hummus, and truffle-parmesan fries.
Cashing In On Scottsdale’s Party Town Reputation
Bachelorette parties are becoming big business. According to the Bach App, more than 50% of women surveyed expected to spend more than $250 on their bachelorette weekend accommodations and more than 50% allotted more than $250 to experience expenses like transportation, entertainment and dining. On average, women are spending a total of $5,500 to $7,000 on their bachelorette parties.
Hohman, 36, started Scottsdale Bachelorette in 2018 as a side hustle while he worked his day job at HomeLight as a sales director, after working at other big corporations like Yelp and Uber, also in sales.
He launched his business on Instagram in December 2018, championing popular hashtags like #Scottsdalebeforetheveil and #Scottsdalebachelorette with other peoples bachelorette photos and set up his first party in spring 2019.
“I thought, youre out of town, what can I do, Hohman said.
At first, brides would mail Hohman their purchased bachelorette decorations for him to set up. He averaged two parties a week and charged $100 per party, which also included an initial consultation with the bride or maid of honor.
In 2019, Hohman decorated 30 houses. By 2020, he had decorated 300 houses, which Hohman believes was in part due to the proliferation of house parties during COVID-19 and the lighter restrictions in Arizona.
Hohman created all-inclusive packages that helped streamline the setup process. Then he quit his day job to pursue Scottsdale Bachelorette full-time.
Thursday Night: Dinner And Drinks
Have everyone fly in on a Thursday and once everyone has made it to the Airbnb, start getting ready for happy hour and dinner and drinks. I recommend going to Maple & Ash for their Oyster Happy hour between 5-6:30 pm Monday through Friday for $2 oysters. If oysters arent your thing, head to Diego Pops for a trendy, modern Mexican restaurant and happy hour margaritas from 3-6 pm. For dinner, I suggest making a reservation for Toco Madera, another Mexican restaurant but with a completely different vibe. The restaurant is has a dark, sultry, jungle aesthetic along with amazing food and cocktails. Get Out On The Lake Chase Waterfalls Or Find A Swimming Hole
Not enough people do lake things here and this needs to end. Phoenix is surrounded by a ton of large beautiful lakes just 30 minutes from town. On top of that there are tons of gorgeous waterfalls and rivers through the valley for relaxing days by the water.
Lake Pleasant is enormous and offers all the water activities you need including renting a boat and its only 45 minutes from downtown Phoenix. Saguaro Lake has all water activities and some great hiking. Canyon Lake is extremely picturesque, rents boats has hiking and camping. Apache Lake and Roosevelt Lake are also a couple great options.

Companies like Scottsdale Bachelorette and Girl About Town another bachelorette planning and decorating service stock fridges, help book events through other vendors and decorate Airbnbs before groups arrive.
When booking with Scottsdale Bachelorette, guests choose a theme and for $550, Hohman and his team will set up a photo backdrop and a balloon garland with color coordinated motifs like cactus, technicolored suns or flamingos.
Ranging from $800 to $850, the all-inclusive packages include the photo backdrop, as well as table decor, bride’s room decor and miscellaneous items like a champagne blow-up balloon in a hallway or a “last hoedown” sign hung up in the kitchen and goodies like hangover recovery kits.
Add-ons to the all-inclusive package include customized welcome signs, a beer-pong table set up and a kitchen stocking service that includes picking up online grocery orders and making sure the kitchen is fully stocked for the weekend.
The biggest draw for either package seems to be the breakdown service. Hohman and his crew return to the Airbnbs on Sunday or Monday morning both to clean up and clear out all decorations in the house. Airbnb hosts love it too, Hohman said, who explained that his team knows how to put up and tear down decorations without damaging walls or furniture.
Our goal is to make it so they can plan less, and party more, Hohman said.

Saturday Desert Jeep Tour Pool Party Dinner & Out
One of the most popular things to do in Scottsdale, especially for groups like a bachelorette, is the desert jeep tour. As a less adventurous/outdoorsy person, I was pleasantly surprised that this ended up being a highlight of the trip for me. There are many companies in town that offer these tours, available to book privately for larger groups like ours or to join at set times with other people, but we booked Off-Road Jeep Adventures and would definitely recommend them!
Based on our experience, I listed a few things that you should factor into your plans, packing, and deciding if this activity is right for you.
After the jeep tours, we jumped in the pool and hung out for the day. I loved these cute custom pouches the MOH found on Etsy!
For dinner, we went to the trendy and upscale restaurant, Toca Madera. For our size group, we had a custom pre-fixe menu for food that was pre-planned and paid for, and drinks were extra on our own. Similar to Diego Pops, the food was really good but the highlight for me was the Ghost Rider cocktail. They described it as a mojito + margarita-ish, which was pretty spot on. It also had cinnamon in it an unexpected but game-changing treat! If youre a cocktail connoisseur, Toca Madera is worth a visit. I loved how the cocktail menu was in a leather book, and the pages included handwritten notes from the mixologists. Its definitely somewhere I would go back to on a future trip!

Patties is a famous Dive Bar in Old Town with dollar bills hung up all over the bar. This would be a fun spot to check out during the day or before your group transitions to a club later in the night!
