Ocean City Boardwalk is 3-miles long, and does not seem to lack activities to take part in year-round. Locals and visitors alike stroll, bike, rollerblade, and walk their dogs along this world-famous boardwalk. Landmarks around Ocean City Boardwalk include the United States Coast Guard Tower, the Inlet Indian sculpture, Trimper’s Carousel, and Ocean City Lifesaving Station Museum among others, all strategically located for the convenience of tourists.

There are several classy hotels overlooking the beach, such as Grand Hotel and Spa, bars with cold beers and fun cocktails to grace your evening, as well as pet stores. The boardwalk is always enlightened with street performers, kite fliers, and beautiful views.

Feeling energetic? Its a mere 199 steps up a winding iron staircase to the top of the Cape May Lighthouse, a majestic, 157-foot-tall tower. Windows at six landing platforms provide a breather and admit natural light. At the top, you can step outside and stroll around the encaged catwalk for a 360-degree view. This seasons full-moon climbs are scheduled for June 14, July 13 and August 11. New this year, Stairway to the Stars climbs are being offered May 30, June 28, July 28 and August 27new-moon nights when the sky is darkest and stars are most visible. One of the most fun things to do in New Jersey is to enjoy the New Jersey Lottery Festival of Ballooning! Even if you dont play the lottery, youll enjoy this event filled with live entertainment, and of course, the balloons!

The Festival of Ballooning has something for everyone. Grab a bite to eat from one of the food vendors before you go watch the balloons take off. Theres also face painting for the kids. One year I even got to walk into a butterfly tent and feed butterflies now that was an experience!

Located on the Camden waterfront, Adventure Aquarium maintains high standards of animal care and exhibition. Visitors have the chance to view more than 8,500 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water. Get a view of rare water species such as the only Great Hammerhead Shark on exhibit in the United States, as well as a hippo exhibit.

The Aquarium also exhibits the Little Blue penguin, a rare species of Penguin hailing from New Zealand. There are many exciting activities such as walking in the 40 foot Shark Tunnel, or having fun on the Shark Bridge, the longest V-shaped rope suspension bridge in the world.

It’s Marc Ribler and Friends performing Red White and Brit, An Electrifying Tribute to the Who, on Friday, June 25, at the Bar Anticipation Summer Stage in Lake Como.

The Who is considered one of rock’s greatest bands, with hits including My Generation, Pinball Wizard, Won’t Get Fooled Again and Who Are You.

Ribler and Friends, including Jack Daley, Dale Toth, Andy Burton and Rich Mercurio, will definitely be plugged in for this one.

Thomas Edison National Historic Park

This is another Thomas Edison place we would like to visit. The admission is $7.00 for adults, and since kids under 16 are free, for us that would just be the $10.00. Enjoy A Night Of Theater From Local Playwrights

It’s the last chance to get a seat at the Jersey Voices series, a festival of original one-act plays written by New Jersey playwrights. Hosted by Chatham Community Players, the Jersey Voices festival is in its 27th year.

The show will be held at Chatham Playhouse and will feature seven shorts ranging from absurdist comedy to emotional dramas.

Curtains rise at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online. rrive five minutes before the show starts to claim your seat. Places Of Interest In New Jersey: Lakota Wolf Preserve

Lakota Wolf Preserve offers an intimate view of wolves in their natural habitat through their Wolf Watch Tours. Once you are in the preserve, you are surrounded by four packs of wolves. You will learn about the social structure of wolf packs, their eating habits and interaction with man, as you watch the wolves playing, interacting, and even howling.

The preserve also keeps foxes and bobcats. Tours are offered during the week with a reservation, and on weekends drop-ins are welcome. Guests are allowed to take photos on the preserve and of the animals. Two tours are offered daily except on Mondays.

We had the chance to visit this park during the cherry blossom season. Who knew that right here in NJ, you can find a park that has more cherry blossoms that Washington D.C..
