Dress Up And Put On A Short Play
Give kids a theme, such as a summertime picnic or a winter kingdom, and ask them to put together a short play to present to you later. It should have a beginning, a middle and an ending, but the rest is up to them. Encourage them to get into it by using whatever they can find to dress up as characters.
Who is it good for? This imaginative activity is best for elementary school-aged kids who are already able to dress themselves and work together to come up with a basic story structure.
Pat Or Pet In Passing
You may already know that touch is an important part of bonding. Touching your partner increases intimacy, the feeling of warmth, safety, and respect. You might not be able to hug him in school but you can definitely keep it tight with him by gently patting him in passing. Let your fingers do the talking for you. For example,
- Gently touch his ear or hair while walking to your seat and back it up with a smile.
- Walk your fingers through his neck, especially the back of his neck, and then whisper a joke or a compliment
- Play with the tip of his fingers or hand by rubbing yours on it.
Turn Up And Show Support
What is love without support? Couples turn up for each other at school. They always try to cheer each other up because they want to stay winning and if things go sour, they are there to console and encourage one another . This is how they build trust for each other. So, if your boyfriend is ill, in trouble, or participating in an activity like soccer, basketball, dance, and the like, try to be there for him and also expect him to do the same for you.

The Adventure Valley guides make it all fun, and no worries, the safety standards are stringent. The paintball park has open play on Saturday and Sundays for those 12 and older. Homeschooling Middle School Kids
- Create a summer reading list together. Give your children more latitude in deciding what they want to read. Everyone needs to read books that are just for sheer joy.
- Volunteer at a pet shelter. If you have an animal lover and they are a bit mature, pet shelters are always looking for responsible volunteers.
- Take up baking. Most kids this age either love to cook or bake. Chocolate chip cookies are a great motivator with my boys in learning how to bake.
- Ice skating. My boys love to iceskate in the summer when the days are hot. It also burns off excess energy. I love the quiet and calm at home when we come back because they are too tired to start any sibling rivalry.
- Take them to a homeschool convention. You know they dont just sell curriculum there. My boys picked out hands-on science projects and crafts they liked to do. It can also be an opportunity for them to look at curriculum they will be using in the upper grades.

Appropriate school activities will lead to the all-round development of children and make them achieve their maximum potential. Plan How Many Activities You Plan To Execute Per Day And Week
It is important to plan for a number of engaging activities throughout the unit because chances are your students are going to be more engaged with a problem related to what theyre studying. If you have an idea how to make the subject youre teaching that week more interesting, it will galvanize your students learning.
A great example of this is having them cook or do gardening activities. The math involved in cooking and gardening oftentimes has a hidden meaning behind what theyre doing which makes it easier for the student to see what theyre doing and why it matters. Having these kinds of activities planned as often as possible will make sure your students have a better grasp of their subjects.
When you are planning, try using different methods to decide what kind of activities or projects you want to do. For example, how have you planned out which activities and subjects to cover? The first thing I do is divide the class into different categories of students and see if their interests coincide with what I want them to know.
If a student shows great interest in cooking or computers, for instance, I want to find a way, even if its ever so slightly, to incorporate that into the class. By doing this, you are able to find more uses for your subjects and engage the students further.
If a student isnt grasping the material because theyre feeling discouraged, this will be a good way to ease their anxieties about school work.

Children will have fun doing it on their own, but its more fun as a competition with a sibling, friend or you.

Students might connect over things that spark joy and gratitude or over things that bring on more challenging feelings.
