Pay A Visit To Niagara Falls

From one of the most iconic man-made skylines in the world to one of the most famous natural wonders in the world, taking a day trip from Jersey City to the magnificent Niagara Falls has to be one of the best things you could be doing with your time. If you only have a couple of days here, we could forgive you for not going to see this waterfall, but if youre here for a week or more? You should do this one!

From Jersey City itself, its actually pretty far to the famous falls around 6 hours by car but if you really want to do it, and if youre a big fan of road trips anyway, this can be done in one day. Youll just have to leave super early to make the most of it. Alternatively, you could make this a two-day trip and stay overnight, making sure you see the falls in the morning light. Beautiful.

Walk Through Liberty State Park

Attracting over 4 million visitors each year, Liberty State Park is the most popular destination in Jersey City. Situated on the banks of the Hudson River, this sprawling and well-cared-for park is over 1,200 acres of green space and features a 2-mile-long promenade called Liberty Walk. This area includes a picnic area, music venues, lovely pathways, playgrounds, and nature walksalong with incredible, unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyscrapers. While visiting, you can also pay your respects at the Empty Sky 9/11 memorial that honors those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001. The sculpture showcases the names of nearly 800 individuals inscribed on the stainless-steel walls.

The Katyn memorial is a memorial built as a reminder of the victims of a massacre in 1940.

This bronze statue in Jersey City was dedicated to the victims of the 1940 Katyn massacre.

You will find out how Polish Army officers and intellectual leaders interned at Kozielsk or imprisoned at Ostashkov.

Even till how Starobielsk was killed by the occupying Soviet Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs or NKVD.

Located in Exchange Place in Jersey City, New Jersey, near the mouth of the Hudson River, this memorial is a top tourist attraction site in Jersey City.

The statue, which was unveiled in June 1991, depicts a bound and gagged Polish soldier with a bayoneted rifle impaled through his back.

It is 34 feet that are 10 meters tall and stands on a granite base containing Katyn soil.

Its base also depicts a Polish woman carrying a starving child as a memorial to the deportation of Polish citizens to Siberia, which began shortly before the massacre.

Go along and walk around the pier here, there is a memorial moreover, you will see the most spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline.
