Located north of Veterans Parkway, Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve is one of the largest preserved spaces in Cape Coral that is open to the public. It is a wetland offering a walking trail, visitor center, Veteran Memorial Area, and seasonal kayak rentals. The boardwalks are for everyone to enjoy wildlife viewing, from which you may spot eagles, ibis, herons, and other wading and migratory birds. Stop by the visitors center before you start to get some hints of what to look out for.

The family-friendly museum includes 60 fully-dressed mannequins, a theater and various display stations.
