On our recent trip to Kissimmee, we stayed at Reunion Resort just down the road from Disney. Reunion comprises a selection of 1-13 bedroom homes and a traditional hotel. No matter which accommodations you choose, you get all the fun of a fully equipped resort so playgrounds, a water park, rooftop restaurant with views of the Disney fireworks, pools, a golf course. And if youre in a villa, you also get the privacy, space to spread out and the comforts of home.
Our villa, the Liberty Square, was absolutely enormous. It was just our sibling crew this weekend, but once we arrived and saw the size of the place I realized we couldve brought every cousin we have and still had space. There were so many bedrooms we couldnt keep track, and ensuite bathrooms in each. Rick and I snagged the master bedroom with a balcony overlooking the pool and golf course, but my favorite bedroom was the character-themed kids bunk bed room. Yes, Rachel and I slept in there one night just for fun, and yes, we want to install a bunk bed room in my house now.

Taking a trip to the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is one of the coolest things to do in the vicinity of Orlandos Winter Park.
The museum itself first came to life in 1942, though it saw its first few decades in a different location.
In 1957, Jeanette Genuine McKean, the founder of the museum, purchased a wide range of items left behind in the ruined Laurelton Hall, left destroyed after the passing of owner and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany.
With its bigger collection, the museum gained more popularity, and in the 1990s, it made its way over to its current location.
Now, the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art is among the best and most fun spots in Orlando, Florida for history buffs and anyone who appreciates an old-fashioned aesthetic.
It has the worlds most complete Tiffany collection, ranging from paintings to stained glass, from furniture to jewelry, from mosaics to enamels, and even from lamps to a recreated chapel built-in 1893!

Osceola County Welcome Center And History Museum
Visitors to Osceola County will find the welcome center a handy resource. There are maps, guides, coupons, and a small gift shop here, with knowledgeable staff to help you find your way. In the same building is the history museum, which consists of four dioramas, each displaying one of the different habitats of Osceola County: Swamplands, pine flatwoods, oak hammock, and lakefront.
The dioramas help to explain how history and nature are tied together and each includes interactive displays and a scavenger hunt. From the welcome center, there is a 1.6-mile trail leading to the Historical Society’s Pioneer Village.

The Paddling Center At Shingle Creek
Shingle Creek comprises part of the headwaters of the Florida Everglades it is a pristine cypress swamp, serene and beautiful. The Paddling Center at Shingle Creek offers guided tours and equipment rental visitors may rent single or tandem kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards. All tours offered are given by guides with CPR and first aid training as well as a profound knowledge of the ecosystems of the Florida swamps. All tours include instruction, snacks and drinks, and life jackets.
The 2-hour Cypress Forest Guided Eco-Tour takes kayakers into old-growth cypress swamps, while the 2.5-hour Ecology Transition Tour extends its paddling and crosses into Lake Toho. There is a 4.5-hour sea kayak tour to Makinson Island, which is designed to enhance already present kayaking skills. My favorite part of the Kissimmee vacation rental experience was our catered breakfast. Thats right, we didnt even have to leave our villa the chef and the food came to us! We woke up to the smell of crackling bacon and fluffy pancakes and didnt have to lift a finger. They even cleaned up after are you kidding me?! Ok, I know I said we werent exploring the theme parks during this weekend in Kissimmee, BUT we made an exception to try out a new water park, Island H2O Live!. Billed as the most technologically advanced waterpark in the world, we couldnt pass this one up. With attractions named Hashtag Heights, Profile Plunge and Reload Rapids, its clear this park was designed with a modern consumer in mind! Our favorites were the swirly, whirly group slides where we could all go together . The guys loved racing each other on Reply Racers.
